Thank you so much for your support and the info on the yahoo groups. I will have to check them out. My new Dr. is Dr. Watson, here at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where I work. He is really nice and really encouraging. I see him again tomorrow. He has had me on a liquid diet with just Water and Protein Drinks since Friday, so I am eager to see him and see if I can eat some food again. He is going to take out more of my fill tomorrow, and then on August 29th he is going to have me do another upper GI and see me again. But I have lost 6 pounds since Friday. I am happy about that.

I'm not sure I know enough about slippage other than what I've read on the news boards from other bandsters. I've heard major vomiting will cause this and I'm not talking about PB.

i had dr carter and no pre op diet, which caused me no problems...he is awesome, conservative with fills, which feels frustrating but is really best for you, i have nothing but good things to say about him.....feel free to contact me for support or answers to any questions about dr carter

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
