Oh crap, I knew you were going to say that. I was hoping the other way. Darn....then I'm only on day 7 and not day 8.

Ahhh, the infamous blue juice. Yes, I remember it well thanks to this lovely picture my hubby felt the need to take:

The only contraversay I've heard about the Body Fortress whey Protein Shots is there was a re-call on them. They thought the lids had been tampered with. I've heard nothing more and they wouldn'be be on the shelf if that hadn't been resolved.

How are you feeling today? I've been drinking the Syntrax Nectar, fuzzy navel. It's not bad. Everything taste so sweet. As for the pills, I've been crushing mine too and the nutritionalist said it was okay to mix it with like a tsp of SF Hershey's Syrup. That's made a world of difference. One of my meds seriously tasted like i was licking a piece of coal.

I'm feeling much better, thanks. I'm 9 days post-op and down 8 pounds since surgery.

I find I miss having solid food around 5:00 PM, or as we're getting towards dinner. Having a cup of chicken broth for dinner just doesn't cut it, but that's OK cause it's just temporary. My wounds are healing up, and clothes are getting looser. All good things. I can swallow better, take small pills without discomfort, all signs of progress. Since I'm in the "honeymoon" phase of this surgery, everyday is a day I look forward to the scale and seeing what I've been able to lose. Life is good!:lol0:

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
