Third Fill....a bit disappointed

Recommended Posts

Ok, my fill went great with no unexpected issues. However, I gained .4 pounds!! Totally not happy with that but my doctor says it is to be expected and she is pleased with my continued loss of inches. I must increase my motivation to get to the gym and partner my workouts with the work of the lapband for some true success.. I refuse to go backward any longer..

I really need some food types also because mostly I'm mot hungry for anything so a can of Soup is my usual, just too high in sodium. Time to search out some tips, I'm opinion to all input..

Soups are considered a slider food and won't give you the satiety that solid food and Protein gives. If Soup works for you to lose weight you might continue till it doesn't, but it's the antithesis of the type of food that makes the band do it's magic.

Hi, how about making a stew? It would be more filling than a can of Soup, you could control the sodium, and it would be more healthier.

I'm pretty much the same way....because of the band I am seldom hungry whether I eat or not......and most days cannot decide on what to eat...soup is always a good fallback for me...especially lunch...even though it's a slider, that has nothing to do with my hunger...I just don't feel the need to eat....24-7

scales go up and down all day long..

heck you can pee or poop that out...and could be salt/water retention so drink alot....if you are losing inches you are losing weight....and that is what it is all about...you are doing great....focus on the big picture, not just what the scale showed one time...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
