1:30 surgery time. I'm gonna starve! lol

Recommended Posts

My surgery is scheduled October 11th at 1:30pm. I work at the hospital I am having surgery at so I'm going to work half the day. But i can't have anything to drink or eat after 3 am (since the surgery is at 1:30pm). I'm gonna starve lol i know I'll probably more excited and nervous the day of so I won't even care but I'm just saying. lol Anyway the perks of working in the anesthesia department at the hospital is I got to pick my anesthesia team! I think I'm most nervous because I have to stay the night at the hospital... However my pain meds probably won't let me care either. Lol getting wicked excited!

You will do ok - you'll be busy anyways getting prepared that morning. I did ok and my husband even stopped at dunkin donuts on the way (ugh) but I was fine - lol ;)

LOL, you'll do fine. I think my post op day was hard on me cuz I didn't even get my morning coffee. I really can go without Breakfast if I let myself, as long as I have my coffee. But, I truly did get hungry. But they didn't come get me to take me back until 2:00 pm and my surgery was scheduled for 10. I was there til they closed the doors.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
