First "stuck"?

Recommended Posts

Pretty sure I had my first - albeit minor - stuck episode. My 5 year old and I I stopped for happy meals. I apparently reverted to my post band ways and was eating fries way too fast. Happy meals now only come with like 8 French fries so I'm not sure where I thought my fries would go.

Anyway, about half way through the little carton I started to feel a tightening and pressure like I couldn't swallow. I figured it was either being stuck or it was "the big one".

A couple of minutes of stretching and breathing deeply and I felt like it slid down. Not positive because Im still a newbie, but I'm assuming.

No more fries for this dad. It was a horrible feeling.

Take it as a learning experience. Old habits die hard and sometimes it takes something like this to remind us to stick to our new eating patterns.

For whatever reason, fries do not do well with me. I just quit eating them altogether which is a good thing! I have problems with very few foods but that is one of them.

I can only eat fries if they're soft. On the rare occasions I have them, I pick through and only eat the soft mushy ones.

Funny thing, I can only eat fries if they are really well done! Goes to show how different we all are! I can't eat very many any more-thankfully I guess because they were always a challenge for me to limit the amount.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
