At take the challenge we did a timed mile.....right after the nurses had us tasting crystal light, crackers, pita bread, and light oils, olive oil, smart beat, etc. Well, since I ate before going to TTC, I was full plus by the time the personal trainer said we were going outside for a timed walk. 1 mile took me 20 minutes....wtf was that. OK I won't eat like that again before the pt get's there. With all that said

1 mile of walking with a full stomach LOL

Treadmill got fixed today.

So I did a 30 minute run on that and then 30 minutes of weights - I just made it up, I have a pretty good idea of my anatomy, what muscle groups respond to what exercises etc from my years as a physio student. So I just worked my chest, upper back and arms and did some ab work on the fitball.

This a.m. I am working with my new fitness trainer for the first time. I am really looking forward to it. I love to work out with a trainer. The fittest I ever was is when I worked out with a natural body builder. I am down another 2 lbs. Thanks for the info. Telly on how you treat your band. Yesterday I treated it like I had restriction and cut my meals in 1/2. It worked and I'm down from my plateau. The funny thing is that I wasn't really hungry. My first fill is Monday.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
