I have fallen off the wagon, and can't seem to get back on. I'm at restriction I believe because most nights if I eat I vomit. I have also been under a great deal of family stress with no end to the situation. I know this has contributed to my problem. I have only lot 45 lbs. since July 12,2012. I am feeling like I'd better diet or I won't drop the other 45lbs. I just don't know what to eat anymore because it seems all I do is choose soft sugary foods because those are the ones I don't throw up. I have stopped doing all that I was doing. I'm not eating right, not exercising. I haven't been on this forum for about 3 months. My doctor is of no support. He also has no nutritionist. All he wants to do is give me a fill every time I go. I'm so frustrated with myself I just want to get serious again. I am in need of a plan. Please send advice. Thanks!

It sounds like you are way too tight. Contrary to popular belief tighter isn't better. It can lead to both weight gain and slips. You are clearly exhibiting "soft calorie" syndrome because you're too tight.

Please read this article, it will help considerably: http://www.lapbandtalk.com/page/index.html/_/support/post-op-support/tighter-isnt-always-better-r118

I agree with Missy. You need to be eating solid Protein. In my experience, the more sugary foods I eat, the hungrier I get. If I stick to my Protein, I do not crave sweets.

Is there any chance in changing Drs?

Sorry you are feeling this way. Do you have a "buddy" that can help you get back on the wagon, even if its to listen or do the diet with you? Hope you find the strenght to fight this and keep your chin up. Look at it in "one day at a time" kinda way and set yourself goals for daily instead of long run goals. I wish you all the best.

Definitely investigate a slight unfill. You need to eat solid Protein to fuel your weight loss.

I have fallen off the wagon, and can't seem to get back on That's probably where the term came from, it's a Wagon people get off and get back on when needed ;) I'm at restriction I believe because most nights if I eat I vomit. I have also been under a great deal of family stress with no end to the situation.LIFE Happens..things WILL get better (been there done that)I know this has contributed to my problem. I have only lot 45 lbs. since July 12,2012. I am feeling like I'd better diet or I won't drop the other 45lbs. I just don't know what to eat anymore because it seems all I do is choose soft sugary foods because those are the ones I don't throw up Being too tight will cause you to throw up, and grab the soft foods ( anything is better than nothing attitude) Call your Doctor, If necessary have him do a Fluro and check the Fluid, some people "freak" about having an unfill but if your too tight it's not helping and it doesn't mean you won't still feel restriction. I have stopped doing all that I was doing. I'm not eating right, not exercising. I haven't been on this forum for about 3 months. My doctor is of no support. He also has no nutritionist. All he wants to do is give me a fill every time I go, I know it's not easy :(, the so called "professionals" don't always give you the information or support necessary. You might need to see about getting a new doctor. Your doing great!! your losing weight, you've recognized the problems, now the tough part...find a way to release your stress or minimize it and GET BACK ON THE WAGON!!!!!!!!!

We'll be here when your ready....Please keep us posted

I'm so frustrated with myself I just want to get serious again. I am in need of a plan. Please send advice. Thanks!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
