I feel you guys on the scale. I think I am going to ban myself from it for the first few weeks until my 1st fill appointment.

I love the energy. That would be worth getting the lap band all on its own. The losing weight would be a bonus. :-) I haven't felt this good and active in years and I am only two weeks post op. I can't imagine further down the road, but I'm looking forward to it.

I was banded May 17th and so far from pre-op to now I've lost 29 pounds. At the time of surgery, my surgeon put 4.5cc of saline. I had my first fill 2 weeks ago (1cc) and my next is June 24th. I almost feel like I'm losing rather slowly but I don't feel a lot of restriction and I'm hungry quite a bit. Anyone else experiencing hunger. Sorry, if you've already discussed but I haven't read through all the posts.

I was banded may 29th. From pre op diet 5/16 to now down 30 pounds! Only 4 weeks post op on soft foods now. My first fill not til July 12th. No hunger only consume around 600-700 calories a day. Feeling great! No pain no problems eating but being very compliant! Eating slow and small bites. Very satisfied consuming bout 60 grams Protein a day. Will carry on! Feel so much better. Have R/A and my arthritis pain is much improved. Good luck to everyone. It's not easy and everyday is a challenge . I have always loved food.< /p>

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
