Well, you need to start slowly every other day and maybe work on muscel strength first then aerobics.. if you do it this way and hurt like this you will give up start slowly and give you body time to rest and heal inbetween...hot bath and advil should help

thank you....

do you have access to a pool with a fitness class like water aerobics? My gym offers it and I LOVE IT... I thought It would be full of much older ladys and I would be the only 30 something there but thats not the case ( there are even men that go) its a full body work out but its perfect if you have joint pain and tons of fun... I do the Elliptical for 40-60 min at a time 5-6 days a wk then the H2O fitness 3-4 times a wk.( i have a bad knee and a lot of things really hurt it but the pool is great. Just an idea

Are you really stretching your muscles well after you work out because you have to release the lactic acid built up during exercise. Try stretching good after your work out and you will see the difference.

thanks for all the advice it is really helpful

Make sure you stretch before and after , lots of water at least 20 grams of protein after work out as it helps muscles recover and what I find really helps is an Epsom salt bath 1-2 cups Epsom salts in a very hot bath for about 20-30 minutes but sip water while you are in the tub.

Just keep working out. As you work out your muscles will loosen up and you'll actually feel better after working out through the soreness.

Stretching is the answer! Before and after. Surprised the boot camp did not tell you that!

GNC has a great protein shake that has leucine and l-carnitine that helps heal the torn and sore muscles it works great for me when I work out. GNC Pro Performance® AMP Amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60™ - Chocolate
