  1. I relate to this post soooo much , I've been banded two years and have become very lax about food choices , my weight is up and I know it's not a fill issue but a food choice issue . Good for you for getting things in check ,it's a good motivator !
  2. I lost a full shoe size,so they definitely change
  3. I actually get very nauseous when I haven't eaten in awhile it is the signal that tells me I really need to eat
  4. I was sick right before, my Dr told me as long as I didn't have a fever all was well, ask your Dr about it
  5. I was with Dr .Cobourn in Mississauga and the deposit was non refundable
  6. Pasta to me now tastes awful like a lump of goo

Some days I think , wow I wish I could eat more of that it tastes so good , then I think so glad I cant and remember the number on the scale and smile and thank my band, you will get there liquid is the hardest but its the first step to many changes you will make and eventually you will be glad you saw it through .Good Luck
  8. Start tracking your intake , I am carb sensitive and if I eat to many I won't lose ,maybe you are not eating enough or are having tomany sneaky calories , like in coffeeext
  9. I had my very first fill today , very very conservative which is how I want to go and I was in a panic sweating started crying ( super afraid of needles ) and it was a big nothing a tiny bit of pressure then he was done .I am so relived

I am just getting returned hunger now 6 months out so I will be going for a fill but the first six months I had a complete absence of hunger and had to remember and sometimes force myself to eat as I had zero interest in food my family eating my favourite foods didnt have me so much as take a sniff , I think for some of us thats just what the band does

I was banded just over six months ago and have been doing awesome so far down 65 lbs! but lately I have been very hungry in between meals cravings ext so I made an appointment for a fill Feb 18 , I am TERRIFIED of needles so I am very nervous about the fill and also being overfilled . I havent had a stuck episode or an adverse effects so far so I am worried ,done venting
  13. I would add instant decaf to my protein drinks and found them to taste much better
  14. Its sooo not worth it, in a couple of days the craving will go away or at least not be as strong you can do this ! and you will be so happy you didnt give in
  15. 50 minutes running intervals on the treadmill today as well as upper body strength, Zumba tonight for fun , I Love being at the gym!
  16. could be early , surgery does all kinds of weird things to our bodies if you are really concerned maybe check in with the DR , 21 days is super early

  18. You sound like youare to tight maybe a small unfill
  19. Worry about healing right now, your were given IV fluids extra I am sure you have Water retention
  20. Six months out I have lost over half so far, 60. Down 34 to go,totally possible if you want it
  21. I'm six months out and stilllosing large amounts, it's better then it was bit still, get your protein in that helps

  23. Just fat ! instead of obese ! hit my 60 lb loss and feel amazing my BMI is 29.9 instead of 40.2 best thing I have ever done for myself
