Input needed; protein shakes/iced coffee

Okay, so I hate milk and the texture of it, so Protein shakes for me are no different. Ick...like gag ick. BUT I CAN drink the International Delights light iced coffee. So when I go on a liquid diet after a fill, I rely on that, especially when my blood sugar drops (diabetic). So then I thought IF I can handle and actually ENJOY the iced coffee drink, flavor and texture, is there a way to make a Protein shake taste like that? Anyone have a recipe or a brand that can give me the iced coffee flavor but with protein?

As a suggestion for a quick Protein boost, have you tried "New whey Liquid Protein" shots? They are only 3.8 oz, and pack 42 grams of protein, so you may only want half at a time. I use them for "breakfast" 2-4 times a week...There are a couple different flavors. Keep your coffee as a chaser...just a thought.

Where can I find the "Protein Shots?" Thanks I've been using the Premier Plus Protein Shakes found only @ Sam's Club. They come in Chocolate & Vanilla, & are 30 grams per Shake! Since my Surgery on 1/6, I have to split them up into half! They are resealable & taste really smooth! At one week Post-Op, I had lost 18 pounds! I go to the Dr on next Monday, 1/27 & I'm keeping a positive, open mind! I had my Sleeve done by Dr. Rachel Moore in Covington, LA. They have offices all throughout La & Mississippi! They are the highest credentialed Bariatric Surgeons I found! Very respectful & excellent bedside manner! Their website is www.whyweight.com Please feel free to ask me any questions! Thanks & Best of Luck to ALL!

I know you can get them at GNC, but think places like walmart have them as well...probably cheaper.

I would add instant decaf to my protein drinks and found them to taste much better

My go to Protein coffee/ iced coffee is the following:

1 scoop Injury Protein powder

1 shot of SF torani or davinci syrup

8 oz Silk plain

2 scoops Maxwell House instant coffee

8 oz hot Water

Mix the unjury, Silk, and syrup together then mix in the coffee made with hot water. Drink warm or pour over ice. It makes a good size drink that usually takes me over an hour or two to drink. It's my daily Breakfast for almost a year now since getting my Band.

fit frappe.. delicious and good protein.. GNC has the powder.. I also can drink Muscle Milk.. don't like some protein drinks.. GNC Lean Shakes are okay too.The Fit Frappe tastes like Iced Coffee..

I add the protein powder to the iced coffee drink and it's delicious.

Chike has a good coffee Protein shake. You can either get it off the chike website (www.chike.com) or on amazon.
