Hello all does anyone suggest some kind of shirt to hold in the spare tire look until I could afford to get a Tummy Tuck? Please I don't like how it looks

Have you tried some firm ware or shape ware aka Spanks? These products really work well in the beginning when we have lost but everything still giggles and looks bumpy under our cloths. If you wear the shape ware it will during this phase.

I agree with lovethenewme. Spanx or something like that works great. You can get them at any anchor store like jc penny, bell, sears, and even some smaller stores like Cato.

Spanx has their own website too, but you may want to try some on before you purchase them. I have found that getting a good fit might require a few attempts.

Hope that helps

I wore pre and post surgery, compression garments from marena.com, they do Shapewear too and athletic wear, it is expensive but believe me it is much tougher than Spanx and doesnt make you hot at all. Worth every penny it cost, and wash and wears brilliantly.

The hospital after my surgeries got me the compression legs, compression girdle, compression arms and bra, they are medical standard items and last for ages.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
