Hi youall, it has been awhile since i have been on , don't really now why i backed off other than things have not gone quite the way i had hoped it would. It was 1 year on the 12 that i had my band with the plication and i have manage to lose 55lbs but most of that came off before the surgery. After my band things where really slow maybe 1-2 lbs a month, for the first few months. i only have 2cc in my band but i dont feel like thats my problem. I feel like i have good resteriction because there are a lot of things i absolutly can not eat and one of them is bread. There are days that even Water hurts to drink if i try and drink to fast. My Dr and i have been over my eating habits and everything is ok there. sometimes i might have a week moment and have one to many hurshey kisses. In the last few months i have caught myself falling back into some of my old bad habits like snaking in the evening in front of the TV. or just eating because it sounds good, not because i am hungery. So i am back on track again watching my calory intake and i am going to get to my goal. Thanks for letting me vent.

I totally understand how you feel. I had a awful 3 mos. I am not sure if its cause i felt i was doing so good so i could just not pay attention. I think its cause alot of awful things happened in my life the month of Feb and losing weight was the least of my worries. But i went to the dr last week and got my talking to. He also put only 0.3 in my band. But weither it was the talk or the tiny bit of fill It has seemed to work. I have lost almost 5 lbs since last tue. I can now once more feel myself losing weight. Dont give up!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
