Fresh out of Surgery!

Got my band 4 hours ago and I'm at my hotel relaxing. So far the only issue is the gas release. Can't wait for that to be gone!! Once this groggy feeling goes away I am going for a little walk. :$ super excited!

I had the gas pains for two days, I hope it's faster for you. CONGRATULATIONS, on getting the band, you are on your way! I'm happy to hear you want to get up and walk, that is what made my gas go away. The doctor's office said, walk, walk, walk, that will allow the gas to leave quicker - something about the position you are in when walking. Good luck with your surgery recovery and your band, you'll do great!

walk mine took 5 days ,, be careful

Congrats on your surgery!!! I had mine yesterday and the gas is by far the main problem I'm having. I've used the gas stops, walked and now wrapped up in a heated blanket ...hoping for relief soon!

Congrats to you....

Congrats and welcome to your new life!!

Welcome to the other side! My gas lasted about 5 days or so but then I still got lingering shoulder gas for a few weeks after that. Walking and a heating pad helps.

Rest up...be patient with your recovery.....be good to yourself!

Congrats ... good luck

Wooooo hooooo! Congrats! Enjoy your hotel stay!
