I was banded in Mar and I have lost about 25 lbs so far and had my first fill back at the first of the month. My weight loss has been really slow since my fill and I have no energy...I was wondering if anyone has had B12 shots in conjunction with the fills / band. I eat 3 small meals and day, drink lots of water or water with crystal lite in it....If I have a snack in the evening it is some kind of veg or fruit maybe a protein drink or ensure clear... I was just wondering how this would work... Thanks and Good Luck everyone...

well don't get on the scales everyday...Only once a week and just keep working at it and will eventually come off...if your not losing weight it might be inches...Just be patient and it will work...Do get discouraged because you don't see any results... Good Luck to all...

The Drs told me to get it to help with any gas after surgery...It is a digestive aid...You get it at the Vitamin Shoppe...Health food store (GNC)...Mine is chewable but there was lots of choices...I got chewable cherry ones...Glad to hear they also work if you get food suck...(Which I have not had yet).... How about try drinking a glass of Cranberry juice...One full 8 oz glass it should do the trick...Or at least its always worked for me...Good luck...

Hello, I had to go through a psychologists interview, 3 consecutive months of a supervised weight loss class, the lap-band Drs seminar. I called the Drs office and they told me exactly what I needed to ask my insurance company and I then called BCBS and the lady there told where to find the info in my book I got from BCBS or on the web site and I printed a copy and took it with me to my reg drs visit and he and I went over it and he set me up with what I needed...The longest was the 3 months of weight loss...Good Luck if you have any other question please contact me...I will help if I can

to es1120 my surgery was 100% covered I had no copay or hospital payment...it all depends on your deductible I suppose...or at thats the way it was explained to me... Good Luck all

To icebergslim Once I finished my supervised diet it was a matter of about 2-3 weeks till surgery and that was waiting on BCBS for finial approval....Good Luck to all...I am 2 weeks out of surgery...

I also have BCBS...I stsrted my process Dec 12, 2012 and was banded Mar 27, 2013...it was pretty fast....the longest part was the weightloss classrs they require....good luck...

They sell them at Wal Mart or at least the one near where I live..They are in sets of 2 but you can find them single, look where the Danskin clothes are they have yoga pants, shorts and tops. Good Luck in your search...

Congratulations, It is such a big step in the right direction of a new life...My journey started Mar 28, 13 (surgery on the 27)...It is going really good...No gas pain like everyone has complained of but I was luck on that...I am starting my mushies and I am glad to be eating some real kind of food...But the hardest part is not to drink after to wash everything down...But its all good.... Down 10 so far....GOOD LUCK...

that's awesome...I was banded on Mar 27...and my first follow up was also Apr 4...down 10lbs I am just now also able to eat mus-hie foods and they are so much better then liquids...Have you tried tuna packed in water...I eat some eggs salad the other day and it felt real heavy on my stomach....Good Luck with your progress...I go for my first fill on May 9...I excited about it...
