I was banded February 18th 2013. I've managed to lose approximately 85 pounds. I have 6.5 cc in a 10cc band. I am currently able to eat normal size bites of food. I really do not chew thoroughly and I have never thrown up or had a pb or stuck episode. I am was wondering if I needed to get a fill because I think that being able to take a normal bite and swallow with no issues maybe I may not have enough restriction. FYI I had 7 cc in and they removed .25 because I was too tight. I'm not hungry in between meals but I do take normal bites...I can eat 5 oz of food but I choose to stay with 4oz. I consume 700 to 800 calories a day...to fill or not to fill that is my question thank you please remember to be kind.

I have 6.5cc in my 10cc band as well! I was banded in Feb. I am down 74lbs. Restriction is good...I tried 7.0 cc...then 6.75cc...I was too tight...Ive never had a pb or throw up episode since being banded...congrats on your restriction!

I have been banded about 23 weeks. I have a 10cc band with 6.75cc filled. Is plication something that can be done now? Just curious if can be don't after the initial surgery. Thanks in advance.

Thanks fam. My band is working well. I've just been seeing plication more and more. I don't want an additional surgery...once was good enogh....lol...I'm still a little hungry in between meals but nothing major. I love hearing what you guys think. Glad he felt bad for yelling...my hubby tried yelling at me once over a jacked up version of red mac salad that I made...he can no longer wear that favorite shirt of his! Yep threw the bowl straight across the room...lol...I promote non violence guys...wink...
