Port Pain

I was banded 12-3 I just started having pain around my port about an hour after I eat. I have not had a fill in a month. Has anyone else had this problem?

The dr might know better because I cannot think or any correlation between eating and your port. The port is just a vehicle to transfer saline to the band and isn't located near or on your band..... I would ask at your next appointment or call the office if you are concerned

I agree... call in and talk to the doctor. Port is not directly connected to eating!

I was banded over two years ago and I occasionally have pain around my port. The doc said it's because it's attached to my muscle. So sometimes eating or certain activities will cause some discomfort. If it's for a little while I wouldn't worry but if it's ongoing, I would tell my doctor.
