Had My First Fill Today

Recommended Posts

I had 2 cc put in...is it bizzare that I enjoyed the experience? Just the whole notion of having the ability to add/ take Fluid out is so fascinating to me. I always had so much anxiety when I thought of getting a fill, but I already want another one...oh yeah, and I've lost 34lbs since my surgery 12/17/12..57 lbs total from pre-op diet ..also an awesome feeling...:)

Congrats! I've been wondering what does a fill actually feel like? When they put Fluid in do u feel the band become tighter? I haven't even felt something around my tummy my only pain has been soreness at incision sites

I generally feel nothing but the initial needle stick with fills. Some people may be sensitive enough to feel the band tighten, but I am not one of them. Peaceful1, so happy you had a good experience. It is fascinating to me too.

I literally felt NOTHING..the only thing I felt was a slight snugness around the band. I definitely feel a little tighter, but it doesn't bother me...phew! So relived! Good luck to you!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
