Linda, I sure could use that info everyday! Where did you get that? Yes I feel that I am having the same problem you are having, too comfortable! I also do not care for exercise, but I do like to ride my bike when i can find the time.

July Bandsters....lets Here You....
One year anniversary of my lap band. Oh how I felt that day! I thought what have I got myself into this time! Little did I know it was the best decision of my life. I have lost 55 lbs but I have "gained" so much more, confidence, my health, more energy. I have been taken off 2 of my meds also. I have more to lose & I am working on that. MARIE

Kim, I will keep you in prayer. I know you can do this, "one day at a time". I have been stuck at this weight range for way too long. I need to get down to business, I know what to do and I know I can do it. July 10th will be one year and I thought I would be down more then this. But you know like all of you have said, I feel 100% better then I did one year ago! And at a medical standpoint I am WAY better then I was a year ago! Marie

I too am too comfortable with my eating. I am able to manipulate my food. Soft foods go down way too easy! I am trying to go back to the way I was told to eat, protein first, & if there's room for veg & a fruit second. That worked for me. I have lost 2 more lbs.

I too had a fill yesterday, up to 4 3/4 - 5cc, not sure. I do have that full feeling & I am glad with it! Glad everyone is doing so good.

Linda, glad you are on the mend. And getting back to exercise will come just take it easy for now and do what you have to do. Talking about the tummy thing, yes Thank God no one sees it but me & my hubby! Thats bad enough! LOL! But I feel 100% better then I did 6 mths ago, more energy, no sluggish feeling. Later, Marie

The Elusive Sweet Spot
Thank you for this, I really needed to read this now. I kept waiting for my sweet spot that everyone is talking about. Now I know it will come when I am at that point in my journey. Thanks.

Congrats Linda! Great job! I am stuck at 57 lbs. lost. I need to step it up! I know what to do I just need to DO IT! Hopefully warm weather soon & I can walk my mile. I seem to need a fill some days then other days not. Do any of you have those days? I am only 4 1/4 cc filled. What do you think? Marie

Linda, glad you are doing well. You are in my prayers for a speedy recovery. Kim, ty for the Protein Bar suggestion. I eat egg whites for Breakfast, no problem I like that, but sometime I need something different. I do eat Peanut Butter. I started walking my 1 mile again, but the weather has gotten a little too cool for me again. I think I am eating too many "soft" or liquid foods, Soups, soft veg. I need to go back to the way I ate at the beginning. My Proteins first then if I wasnt too full I would eat a fruit or veg. I guess I got too comfortable with this way of eating. Blessings to you.

Ok Kim thanks for the suggestions & encouragement. I am very pleased with the 56 lbs. but I have a long way to go to get to my goal. My day starts at 5am, I am a bus driver. I do have a hard time finding Breakfast foods besides eggs. I stay away from shakes I would rather eat something. When the weather was warmer I was walking 1 mile a day 3 - 4 times a week, but it is still a little cold in morning for me. I clean my church & 1 house 4 days a week. Like you Kim I am a snacker. Also I need to stay away from bread & other carbs, I do not lose when I eat them. I do eat good carbs- nuts, fruit & veggies. I am really interested in the Paleo diet (caveman diet). Protein, veggies, fruit, whole grains & nuts, no dairy & low carb. This seems the best way of eating for me. Also I did just have a fill but sometimes I just don't feel it, if you know what i mean. My band has 4 1/4 cc. 10cc band. I like that full feel, it keeps me headed in the right direction. It sure was good to chat with you. Have a wonderful day! God Bless You!

I am wondering if anyone else has this problem. I was banded July 11, 2012. I have lost 56 lbs., but in Jan. it is like I hit a brick wall! I want to eat things that i havent wanted to eat since surgery, I seems i am hungry more often. I had a fill in early Feb. Please give me some feedback.
