Hiccups with fill?

Recommended Posts

Hiyas all ! :) Ok, so I had my 3rd fill this past weds. I finally feel restriction and might either be in the greenzone or damn close! YAY! but anyway.. hehe

So ever since I had my recent fill.. I've been hiccuping! has anyone gone through this? Doesn't seem like anything to worry about but it's odd and a little annoying. Kinda weird right?

Anyway, have an awesome day all **Hugs**!

Yes!! When I first got into the Green Zone, I swear I would hiccup constantly. I finally realized I had to slow down a lot more when I ate. Before I was banded, I was definitely a rushed eater. I'd just plow through my meals without any thought. I guess old habits die hard because even though I thought I'd slowed down, apparently I hadn't slowed enough.

I still get weird hiccups when I'm done eating sometimes. It's one of my "soft stops". It's not even like normal hiccups, in fact my kids and I jokingly call them "hiccurps" because it's like a combination between a hiccup and a burp. I'll have a half dozen hiccurps and I know when that happens I'm done eating. Odd huh? :)

I get these also. I always get teased at work about drinking on the job. Hahaha.

Hiccups come for reasons that even doctors don't understand. Mine usually are a signal of eating too fast or bit too much. Hope this will be your green zone! Best wishes.

My hiccups tend to come when I am finished eating. As someone said my soft warning. It usually means don't take another bite. Burping, however, I get at odd times, too!

Oh hiccups are definitely a warning sign to slow down..put down the fork and wait. It also means you've ate too fast..too much..too soon. In my experience

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
