Silly question - Can I have coffee on day 4?

I would like to mix my protein into my coffee; is that allowed?

My to go a head and enjoy

Call your doctor because most say no caffiene only decaf. No one but your own doctor can tell you this. Caffiene is a stomach irritant and dehydrates so no I wouldnt unless you confirm with him or her that it is okay.

I drink coffee everyday, plus other things many may not. BUT my Dr. Is fully aware of what I do, and I see him regularly, plus my PCP, Cardiologist, etc,.

My doctor never restricted my coffee. I don't mix my protein into it, but I have a friend who does every morning...she says it is like a mocha.

If your Dr isnt restricting coffee or caffine then it wouldnt hurt the composition of the added Protein I wouldnt think. Always best to check with the NUT. Might be a simple as an email.

But if you are on day 4... are you supposed to be adding protein or having coffee? I was allowed only Clear liquids the first week. ALways best to check with your Dr.

I would double check with the doctor about caffeine. It is a dehydrator so it may be a bit early. Try decaf?

I stuck to herbal teas for warm drinks and now I don't drink coffee at all!

Bee Well!

My doc said no caffeine for 3 weeks. I was on protein and clears for 7 days. Is coffee a clear? Chek with ur doc.

The great coffee/caffeine debate.... each doctor is different. I drank coffee from day one, my doctor has no problem with coffee or caffeine.

To each his own.

Of the subject and I have a silly question how often do you guys weigh yourselves? I'm just curious. I feel I'm obessed the scale lol
