Recommended Posts

I have 5 cc band and 3 months ago I filled with .5 so now I am at 3 cc but for last 3 weeks I have a hard time to eat any solid food I am confused I was fine suddenly got tight. I am PB 4 to 5 times a day I have an appointment next Thursday just wondering how much should I remove? It is costly every time I fill or un fill. Please help any suggestion? I don't want to be loose I just wanted to be able solid food I can keep liquid not creamy liquid but no matter I eat slow and chew my food seems like stuck and doesn't go down.

Have you looked at how you are eating? As we get closer and into the green zone, we have to really follow the rules of small bites, waiting in between bites and chewing each bite for about 30 seconds or 25x. I was feeling like I was too tight after this fill; however, I re-examined how I was eating and I wasn't doing what I should have. I have taken notice to take very tiny bites now, chew, chew, chew, wait and then another bite. It helped me realize it wasn't the band it was me causing the pb episodes. Just want to make sure you have considered that may the problem before going for an unfill. Now, if you are having difficulty getting liquids down then definitely you may be too tight. I know you said you are eating slow (and so was I) but it was the size of my bites that were doing me in.

Good luck.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
