Peanut Butter Power Balls

Recommended Posts

I found this recipe in the United Airlines Magazine

Peanut Butter Power Balls

3 parts creamy peanut butter

4 parts in fat dry milk

1 part pure honey ( or agave nectar ). I used sugar free flavoring Syrup instead. I had the Carmel on hand. Just added enough to barely moisten so I could make balls.

1. Sprinkle dry milk into peanut butter and mix. Add honey or syrup

2. Shape into bite size balls on dinner plate; place in freezer for at least 15 minutes

3. Enjoy, feel the power of healthy energy.

I used 1 tablespoon as my one part. So 3 tablespoons peanut butter, 4 tablespoons dry milk.

It would be dangerous to make too many!

Be careful they can be addictive!

Hmm. I wonder if that would work with powdered Peanut Butter (PB2)?

Oh, mmmmmm Peanut Butter, drooool.

As I am finally learning, now that I have to be wheat free, lactose free and low fodmap, there are SO many really good (and very healthy) treats to make, you seriously dont need that white flour crap. I dont even buy gluten free alternatives to bread, Cookies etc because they're just as crap as the wheat products!

I made some pancakes today with oat flour (I ground it in my Vitamix) and LSA mix and they were fantastic!

Has anyone tried it with the PB2?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
