I'm getting banded in 2 weeks my surgery date is July 24, I'm so excited and can't wait, but friends, family and co-workers are not helping, they all say that it doesn't work, or that I'm going to feel so bad afterwards, that I'm going to vomit all the time and that I won't get rid of all the weight. None of them have the band but they'all have friends who are banded and this is why they are "informing me" of all the bad things that could happen. I'm so angry at them, I was so focused and happy about all this process.
