not losing my breath when I go upstairs

losing my turkey neck (or extra chins)

feet no longer swelling in shoes

being able to cross my legs at the knee (if thats what you want to do)

getting out of Queen or 2x-3x pantyhose (people still wear those, right? ; ) )

not wearing old lady swimsuits (with the little skirt)

fitting in rides at the amusement park

my drivers license weight is closer to being true than ever before (lol)

I could do a cartwheel without fear of my arms snapping at the elbows

no more guilt trips at the doctor

I had to laugh - my driver license says 197 and even though I'm nearly 300 I refuse to up it ;) and the lady laughed at me last time. I said to her "can't I lie about this one thing" and she kept it.

LoL, when I went to the DMV last the lady asked me if anything had changed and I said yes, my address, then she looked at me funny and said, "aaaanything else?" and I thought it was weird but I said, "Um, nope," she just shook her head and printed it up, when I got to my car and went to look at the picture again, i finally realized what she was trying to get at, my license said I was 150lbs.... that's how much I weighed when I was 15.

I love your list! I think it is a great idea!!! I plan on making one now. I also work in law enforcement and look forward to looking better in my uniform. Plus being able to crawl, squat, and climb through crime scenes easier is a plus!!!

150 is my ultimate goal and I would like for once to go to a freakin class reunion. I haven't been to any because I was so ashamed of being heavy.

I also want to order a sexy corset and matching underthings to wear. They do not make corsets in my size, I have already checked!

I love this topic, I have my own bucket list as well. I will share some with you guys.

-Find knee high boots that actually fit around my legs.

- buy clothes because I like them not simply because they have my size.

- be comfortable in heels

- wear short shorts or tight jeans

- dress up for Halloween

- do my own pedicures

- have more energy

- fit through a turnstile

- bathe myself with ease

- more self esteem

I never realized how much I took these things for granted when I was younger and thinner.

-Kelly

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
