What do you do for a living?

I am a Mortgage Broker in The Woodlands, Texas. I have 2 loan officers that work with me. I share an office with an insurance company. We are a very small office but very successful because we are honest! I am curious to see what others on this board do for a living.

Have an awesome day!

KJ;)

I am a retired Office Manager and Bookkeeper.... My husband and I sold our home, purchased a motorhome and hit the road... We now live and travel full time in the motorhome with our 2 little dogs.... Life is good for us...

I am basically a bum. I work 12 hours a week for an attorney. The rest of the time, I just goof around.

Currently a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist/EKG Tech. just got certifeid and a diploma in thse and in january returning to school for nursing!!!:whoo:

I'm a food service manager, or the lunch lady for a residential school.

I'm in school full time for business management and MBA combo program.

I've worked in food for 20 years and need to get away from where it's served.

Hey Jeni--I could have been your instructor! In my first life I was an OB nurse (delivered a few babies myself!), then I taught nursing skills labs, and for the last 8 years I taught Medical Assisting. I also voluneer in a Salvation Army clinic regularly and mentor Nursing students there.

My first 20 something years of work..I was the Head Tech for Lab & X-Ray in a hospital then moved over to the Doctor's Clinic for another 8 years.

Now I buy and sell real estate, and have some rental properties... (HouseHuntress)....Plus serve on some boards in my local small town in Texas.

A mom to 2 boys ages 20 and 15, a part-time student, 1 quarter away from having my associates degree in supervisory management, a housewife and a full time supervisor over the cabling/heatset departments on 2nd shift, 4pm-12am, at Mohawk Industries, Pine Tree Plant in Dahlonega, GA. For those of you that don't know...Mohawk is one of the leaders in the flooring industry. I also breed Shih-tzu's as a hobby.

I am a mama...I have three little girls ages 3.5, 20months and 20 months.

In addition, I am a master procrastinator...My house is never clean and my dinner generally comes from a store.

BUT...

My kids and I play all day...ride bikes, take hikes, do puzzles and color. THAT'S why I'm a stay at home mom...not to clean my house!!

:)

Pre-kids, I was an English teacher at a local HS.

I am a forced retiree. I worked for the largest electric provider in Texas for 31 years. My job was outsourced overseas!!! Anyway, I was ready to go and I practically begged them to take my job. I drove 100 miles a day to and from work in all the traffic. So, I am a happy retiree!!!!

I am a cardiovascular technician too, but I do stress testing and EEGs (don't ask me why the brains get lumped in with the hearts!). I just started preparing for the REEG-T boards. Yikes!

hmmmm I have done a few things . I was a Firefighter for a bit. Up until recently I was a Correctional Officer working in a prison. I resigned and moved to Florida a few weeks ago. Now am in the process of going over to Iraq as a firefighter contractor for a year. I just need to loose another 17 lbs to do that. So hoping to leave around December. Until then I am kicking back working out and getting myself in shape. :biggrin1:
