Had A 3.5 Cc Fill A Month Ago And Am Still Feeling Hungry

Recommended Posts

Had a fill done a month ago (which was my first and kind of a traumatic experience). I followed what I was supposed to do but within a week I was feeling hungry rather quickly I now find that I can eat almost anything and it doesn't bother me. I know I am physiologiclly hungry but I think I am head hungry to and I don't bypass that feeling, I give in. I need to make an apt to go back to my surgeon but I really don't want to because I am staying at the weight I was last time I saw him...any ideas? I've lost 30 lbs and want to continue to go down not have had a pointless surgery....

It's likely that it will take more than one fill to get you to the point where you're satiated quickly and for longer. Unfortunately until you get to that point, a lot of it is up to you. It's not pointless but it's a challenge up until you get good restriction.

When u don't lose weight that tells ur surgeon u don't have enough restriction (within reason of course). When I have lost more than a couple of lbs my dr doesn't want to give me as much fill. When I can say dude I'm freaking hungry to the point my cat is hiding on me, he is more apt to give me the fill. These drs are used to ppl making mistakes. Go see him! Get ur fill

I agree, go get a 2nd fill. My 1st 3.5cc fill didnt do the trick for me either.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
