I was banded 3/20, I track all my food on myfitnesspal.com, and get between 750 and 900 cal a day. That is because I am working so hard to get my Protein.< /p>

I am down about 35 since my preop but 45 since the first of the year. I weigh on Tuesdays (why Tuesdays? I have NO idea!) I have alot ot lose so, it goes pretty quick. I have noticed it slowed alot since I started mushies amd soft food. Before that my average calories were about 650 - 750 a day.

I am only asking because I am staying the same since my week 2. I weighed 211 and this morning I weighed 208.8.. I exercise every day and give it my all. So its gonna come off. Wish I wasn't so addicted to my scale

I am down 24 lbs since being banded. I was also banded on the 19th. I try to get between 1000-1200. If I do too many days below that I stop losing. The other big thing for me is Water. I have to drink at least 72 oz a day or I don't lose. It seems like I am on the high side of the calories. I don't know how others are getting by on so few.

Fozzy, are you a large man or a petite woman? Caloric intake won't be the same for all of us. And exercise is a factor too.

I am so addicted to the scale I get on everyday when I wake up. I think I am going to try skipping a week because I went 10 days without losing anything and I was really getting frustrated so maybe not such a good idea to get on everyday. I am going on 6wks post op this tues. And I am down 30lbs=).

Jepegurl- I am a woman. I am 5'8 and started this at 350lbs. I burn on average about 3200 calories a day. I wear a link armband, so I am confident in my calorie burn. I work out 4-5 times a week and have been tracking my food and Water religiously since January. I also weigh daily.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...
