For The Ladies Who Have Also Had Csections.....

Recommended Posts

Was the lap band recovery a breeze in comparison? I have my mind set that it will be a piece of cake after having two caesareans. I am hoping I am not way off!

I also had 2 c-sections. I think the lapband was less painful (as far as incision wise). I did have a lot of gas pains, i also had a lot with my c-sections.

I have had 3 c-sections- this was way better. And I didn't think the c-sections were all that bad, considering. The incisions aren't where they hurt like they do with a c-section, sitting up from a lying down position doesn't make you want to cry, LOL. I had lots of gas with my first c-section, not as much with my second 2, and the gas with my lap band was minimal. Just walk a lot.

I am so glad to hear this! My first csection was a nightmare, the second was a lot better. It is good to know that this will be easier.

I have had two c-sections which I thought were pretty easy. I then had a liposcopic gall bladder removal. It was SOOOOO easy. I guess I am hoping the Lap Band will be somewhere inbetween the two since they actually add something to my body. I respond very well to surgury. I have learned with all three, the sooner you walk and the more you walk, the faster you get better.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
