  • Hey, I'm in North Dallas. Had my band on Mar 2nd and so far so good other than completely full of gas today (nice!) so bad can hardly stand straight. Hoping gasx will shift some of it tonight... Sorry

Small world. My husband is a Willis boy. I think they are having some sort of reunion in May for those that went to Willis High School. I am going through True Results in Houston....but the surgeon is actually on 242 and hwy45. Wilkenfeld.

I went to school in spring moved to Willis with my mother after husband pass away. I used dr Balette in the woodlands great dr and and staff would highly recommend him. He has a support group at the hospital there I think on Thursday's on pinecroftt

I was actually online today looking for a support group because I am new to the area. I heard of a group called Houston Bandsters... but tried to call the number on the website and it was disconnected... so I sent one of the contacts an email to see if they still meet and the when and where. I will let you know when I hear back. The website was h3wellness.com

I wonder if you can go to another doctor's support group...mind doesn't have one...they cancelled it because it wasn't very popular...so they say.

I tried to copy and paste but wouldn't let me the bariatics support group a memorial Herman in woodlands looks to be open to anyone. GOogle bariatics support group at m

Memorial Herman hospital woodlands tx and it should come up with contact number they meet every other thurs. it is open to all types of surgery so lap band gets bashed a lot of time in those. Maybe we could try to start a coffee group in our area. And meet up once a month or even twice ??

Northwest Houston! Banded 2/28/11 down 101 lbs! :)

I got a failure message from my email to the Houston Bandsters that I was trying to locate. I think that center must have relocated or just gone out of business. So Im not sure if there is a band support group here in our area or not. I called today and am going to start going to a lap band Dr. off of 242. I have to get all my records transfered and all that. But I will ask them next week if there is a support group out of thier office. But I am also game for just starting one for our area. Obviously if there isnt one.. maybe we could start one and gain some more members! Im sure there are others in our area who could benefit!
