February Bandsters?

I know there's a special section for this, but it doesn't seem to be too popular so I'll give it a whirl here..

Anyone here to be banded in February besides me?

My surgery date is February 15th.

Feel free to add me on Facebook for support, etc. =]

Best wishes for JadaB today!! Enjoy your journey. I can not wait until the 17th to get here. The thought of it almost consumes me. I had to get out last night, so I went to Puss n' Boots with my family. I smuggled snacks in for all of them, and for myself I smuggled in a light protein shake.

Yay! The 3 of us need to keep in touch and support each other post op smile.png

Yes we do!! I will friend you!!!

Are there any Feb.16th banders out there?? Time is flying and it is getting really close.

I'm kinda freaking out! My surgery is tomorrow! I live 100 miles away from my surgeon, so me and my family are driving up tonight and staying in a hotel. I am on clear liquids, so I am having a Jello at the moment lol. I'm so thankful for this site, cause I am taking the advice.... like to bring a pillow for the ride home. It is gonna suck! I might even just wear my nightgown home from the hospital lol.

So looks like I am scheduled for 2/27 instead of March. I am a February Bandster as it stands! Im super excited and a little scared but definately ready to roll!! :)

Just got home an hour ago from my surgery, sore yes but i am up walking around every now and then and sipping on broth.

Sojourner! You and I are scheduled for same day! Fingers crossed for you!

SOOO happy for you...I hope we will stay in touch and become a mutual support for progress and success!

Yeah hes good and pretty quick but there were alot of people scheduled I was first but then another patient who was there for her surgiversery was seen then me. Glad its over because it was no walk in the park

Thanks for the good words myluv2drive. The belly bloating feeling is the worst out of this from the gas the incision pain is soreness but the meds make the pain ok. Been walking around the house as much as i can which is actually a lot.

How exciting- we are scheduled for the same day- February 15th. I am getting a bit nervous but excited at the same time :)

Hi all,

Mine is Feb 15th and have mixed emotions between happiness that I will take this journey which I am hoping it will be a successful journey and between being so afraid as I never been in any kind of surgery before I even don’t know how the surgery room will looks like also I am afraid from the complications I need some encouragement this is why I am hereJ

Good luck all and keep me posted with your results

I am right there with you- having surgery the same day as you and have never had a surgery before. Very nervous about surgery and its next week- Things will be fine and will have to post once your home and feeling better, would love to hear how things went for you-
