Would You Do It Again?

Recommended Posts

I am considering a lower body lift and am wondering if you have had it done, would you do it again based on your experience and results?

Hi:

I had a Tummy Tuck in 2009 and will never have to do it again, but I would highly recommend it if you have hanging skin like I had. It's amazing how much better I felt about myself once this was gone.

Yes, it's expensive. Yes, it's painful. Yes, it's so nice to sit down and not have my tummy hit my legs!

Best wishes to you.

Sue

I just scheduled my lower body lift with Dr Quiroz at cosmed in Mexico. My surgery is June 21...I am super excited and scared at the same time...but I have seen some fabulous results and I really need it...lol

I'd do it again for sure. And again. And again. The results were more than I could have hoped for, and it was the icing on the cake of my weight loss.

That said, I had a great surgeon, nearly no complications and no keloid scarring, so in that respect, I could not have had a better experience.

Hi I am 8 weeks out from a lower body lift and Yes I would do it again, make sure you have a good support system the first few week are hard, not that you are in that much pain but their is a lot to handle. I am a Big Guy so it may have been a bit harder, and came home with 6 drains as I had some chest work done also. You really have to give yourself 2 preferably 3 weeks or more. You are up and around but you will not feel like doing much. Also I sleep in my Recliner for almost 2 weeks, It was just more comfortable. I was also working out 3 x week for 1 1/2 years did not realize what good shape I was in until the surgery when you really need strength in your leg and core.

but it is so worth it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
