Phernegan (chopped Up) Piece Caught In My Throat! Help!

Ok, so , my tummy was a little nauseated(i am 4 days postop), so I came and chopped up a Phenergan in 4 pieces. One went down just fine, the 2nd, did NOT! It made me throw up a little, but didnt come up. I think it just moved a little but I think i can still feel it. What do I do?

Suck ice. Hopefully it will help to reduce any swelling and let the stuck item down.

Keep drinking water.. sip it frequently.. it will start to dissolve.. Try gargling?

If your swollen cold is great ! If it's just not moving try a warm "NOT HOT!" cup of Tea or broth or warm Water, and just drink slowly down. It will push threw, and dissolve.

Then if swollen stay on fluids for a day.

Just remember Cold makes the muscles tighten up, and warm relaxes them.

This is important to remember for the future, with the band.
