Hiccups And Burps!

Recommended Posts

I just had my first fill last week and I definitely feel the difference. Do you start to hiccup when you are reaching your fill of food? I also burp a little, but mostly I have to stop eating when I start to hiccup. Does this happen to anybody else??

Yes , hiccups are normally a sign that you have had enough(or too much) or possibly that you have eaten too quickly

Same here. I don't get Burps, but when the Hiccups start then that's it. Time to stop, and sometimes it is also the first sign of getting stuck.

Yes, only after seeing it on here, did I realize that it was normal. So, now, I know and have told my son, that that is a sign that you are done eating! Karen

I do the hiccup thing, too. I am glad that it is normal - with caveats.

I get something like 1/2 burp, 1/2 hiccup...I've learned that this is my "soft stop" and I know when I get those that I need to put the fork down!!

Yep! It is the only side affect I have had so far. So I'll live with it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
