Oh no!

I am so worried about that happening to me....I was scheduled for my 2 wk. post op today, but had to miss it because I could not get out of work in time. I was actually a little relieved, so scared to move to "mushies" and beyond (LOL) as I have gotten quite used to the full liquid diet.< /span>

How are you doing otherwise with regular food? Are you filling up quickly? Are you craving any "bad" food? I think my fear is, once I get a taste of REAL food again, my appetite will be unsatiable.....

You learned a valuable lesson. We can all come in here and tell about it happening but until you experience it for yourself you have no idea!

Ive done fine with food until that episode.... I eat the 3 oz of meat and 1/2 cup of green Beans and im full... I have a hard time fitting in all the Protein in that i need.... Im on my fitnesspal says im not meeting my calories each day..My dietitian told me not to worry as much about calorie as protein....

Hmmm, I'm 4 weeks post-op and no fill and I feel like I can eat anything. I'm chewing real carefully, but I don't feel like anything could get stuck right now. Everything goes right down.

I had my first experience with this when I started the mushie phase and tried eating tuna. It is very painful. That was almost two weeks ago but I still can not bring myself to eat tuna again

I am the same exact way. I can eat anything, at any speed, and and any size bite. Everything goes right on down. I really trying my best to get this under control, because I know the real deal breaker will be when I get a fill(s). I know if I don't nip this in the bud now it going to be a horrible situation.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
