I had to go to surgery center at 6 am Wednesday. Surgery was at 7 and I was back at hotel by 9:30 am. I flew home Saturday night and plan to go back to work tomorrow (Monday) for a full day. I am a bit sore and tired but think I will be fine. I work at a desk so no heavy lifting. I do move around the office quite a bit but I know the movement will be good for me. Doc had me taking four 10-minute walks a day right from the start anyway.

Banded this past Friday the 29th around 9:30am. Left hospital around 1:00 that day. Going back to work full time tomorrow (Monday) morning. Thankfully this has been better than expected.

I was banded on 7/28/11. My surgery was around noon. I left hospital by around 7:30pm. I had a hiatal hyernia taken care of. I think I'll be on sick leave for 1 week (I took sick leave day before surgery, so from 7/27 to 8/3). However, I can do some work at home, so that helps even things out, just have to remind myself not to pick up any heavy casefiles.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
