Need an Orange County CA surgeon in network with United Health care!!

Recommended Posts

Hello all! I am hoping someone out there, knows of a surgeon in Orange County CA that is in network with United Healthcare. I"ll even take any info for surgeons in LA. I have done all my pre-op tests with 1-800-Get-thin doctors in West Hills / Beverly Hills. And just found out from my insurance that they are not in network. Any info would be appreciated! Im checking out the NEW Program as well. But just want to keep my options open just in case! THANK YOU

I was just banded on 4/20, I live in Sherman Oaks and the only Dr. contracted with my insurance (Healthnet) was in Orange. Dr. Milton Owens. He is on Chapman right next to Chapman Medical Center. I think he was a good surgeon, just not real happy with his bedside manner!!! But today is day 9 and I really feel great!! Good Luck!!

Dr. Salimitari is my surgeon. He is AWESOME. He and his partner work all throughout southern california. I was actually refered to Dr. Sal after my insurance wouldn't cover through teh 1-800 people. Here's their website http://www.lapbandvip.com/. There's a thread on LBT about him actually. If you do a search on Dr. Salimitari in the forums, it should pop up, and you can read somemore reviews on him.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
