Better Sex Life?

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone,

You guys really inspire with your brave step to being thinner-you are all heroes in my eyes who have taken control of the beast! I am not scheduled for the LApband until the end of JUne (hopefully sooner if all goes well). My question to you is how much has the band improved your sex life? When I first met my husband it was great (7 years ago) then we both put of a lot of weight-I put on more than him but easch of us have 40+ since we met. Needless to say our sex life took a nosedrive. I am hoping I'll feel more sexy- or thinking maybe studd just slows down when you get older? We both are in our late forties. Thanks for any insights!

Pre surgery my husband (of almost 13 years) and I had sex maybe once a month. Post surgery, we have it five to seven times a week, and it's great :)

It works. I'm late 40s, husband is early 50s and no weight problem. Since losing 90+lb, like is sweet :P

I have lost 20 lbs and already its better. Longer stamana, more movement, etc. My husband said.... " if you keep this up we will never go to work". hehehehe. I think he likes it. ;-)

There's no comparison!! I can't get my husband to stop groping and grabbing me.... I'm not complaining, just saying he's fallen re-in love with me after 30 years!!! We're not as old as it might sound, by the way, I met him when I was 13!!! Life is good...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
