MyFitnessPal.com Members

Hi Everyone,

I am a fellow lap-bander (banded October '09) and I use MyFitnessPal.com to track my foods, exercise and weight loss goals. It's a great tool. Are any of you members? It is free, if you are interested.

If you are members or become members, what do you think of becoming "buddies" on this site so we can look at what each other eats and excercise, etc. for help and tips?

Reply here or PM me if you're interested. I can give you my email address and you can look it up on Myfitnesspal.com so we can be linked.

Be well,

Renee

Omg, you are super fertile, when I had my my band I lost 120 in the first 7months at 8months post OP I found out I was pg,meanwhile all my other babies were conceived via ivf.then at 10months post OP I wasn't only pg, but with twins! We are playing no games this time we are doubling up lol

My GYN said there shouldn't be any absorption issues with the pill, but I decided to go with the Nuvaring again (have used it in the past) just because I'm more confident that I know (or hope) it's working. I was told just to use condoms the first month on the Nuvaring.

My surgeon has a "contract" that says women should do everything possible to prevent pregnancy for 18 months, but it doesn't say anything about using a second form of birth control. Accidents happen no matter what you use & I don't believe they can take any action against you is you become pregnant. I think it's just to reiterate how important it is to avoid pregnancy. It was more a contract so that I said I was aware of the risks involved.

As a male I'd like to weigh in on this...I was sleeved jan 31. 2012 and I never had a pregnancy scare in 32 years old. 4 months after my surgery bam my wife is pregnant lol after 4 years of being together I was thinking I wasn't able to have kids. Lmao I lost 80lbs and now I'm gonna be a father !!!! Thank god for losing weight

I went to another dr, she recommended nuvaring or mirena. Finally, two options I can actually understand! Anyone have experience with mirena? I'm leaning more towards that if my insurance will cover it.

I have no experience with the mirena but I have a. Friend who was taking diet pills and she got pregnant and she didn't even kno it and the mirena was still in her when she found out ..she was in shocked
