MyFitnessPal.com Members

Hi Everyone,

I am a fellow lap-bander (banded October '09) and I use MyFitnessPal.com to track my foods, exercise and weight loss goals. It's a great tool. Are any of you members? It is free, if you are interested.

If you are members or become members, what do you think of becoming "buddies" on this site so we can look at what each other eats and excercise, etc. for help and tips?

Reply here or PM me if you're interested. I can give you my email address and you can look it up on Myfitnesspal.com so we can be linked.

Be well,

Renee

We're working on adding capabilities to our site and app which are similar to MFP. It's designed with Gastric Bypass and other Bariatric members in mind. Do you have any suggestions on features you're unhappy with or would like to see changed or added within MFP ?

Maybe add a spot for total ounces

Hey all, I was sleeved on December 5th, 2012 and would like to have some MFP friends that were sleeve around the same time, or just anyone who wants to share the journey. MFP user name is honeybee165

I'm one4ozzie on MFP. I just started using it today. I was using Lose It which is great. But I noticed several of you are using MFP so I switched and am getting used to the differences. Thank goodness this one has the barcode scanner like Lose It does. I love, love, love that feature!!!

Send me an invite. My DOS was 12/15/12

Would like water in ounces, portions appropriate for WLS population ability to increase protein without screwing up other stats & no calories too low message. May e a how was your day comment section. Thanks & look forward to the new development.

To be able to scan a bottle of water and it can be put under water section or automatically goes there. I like in the Lose It app once an item is scanned it goes under the my foods section. I've noticed with MFP if I scan something new, it will not save to my foods. Also if I change the item by removing from the days intake, it will no longer be saved under my foods or recents. I'm new to this app and still learning how to use MFP. Lose it was extremely easy to learn and use for me.

Also to be able to view the recipe without going into edit.

Have syncing capability between it and fitbit products.

Gen :-)
