I dont understand shy guys always go for the skinny girl? I mean she could be a total b and they still go for the skinny girl. I am not perfect ... far from it but I have a good heart, morals and I dont think I look that bad. So why if your over a size 8 your unloveable?

Being a guy , most women go for the skinny guy , it goes both ways , so dont feel bad or even think about it , if they don't won't to know you , then screw them

First thing...from the looks of your profile picture you are gorgeous! Second....I used to feel the same way until I met the right guy...he loves me for who I am and would love me at any size. Don't get discouraged...you will find the right one and when you do all of the wrong ones suddenly make sense.

I agree with Mckreegar. Sometimes you just have to kiss a bunch of toads until you find the right frog. It has been my experience as a counselor that most people who look only for perfection in their mates, usually have self esteem issues.................HELLO! When you find the right one, you are so glad you kept looking. I kind of setteled with my first marrage and I paid the price. My first husband was rude and took every opportunity he could to put me down. My husband now is a wonderful man. When I was stuggling with my weight, he encouraged me. When I wanted to have surgery, he got on the band wagon and listened every time I told him something I found out. On the day of my surgery he held my hand and cheered me on the whole way there. This whole time I have been struggling over the past few years, he would call me throughout his day at work and say hello gorgious. You are gorgious too. Go for the guys who think and say so.

personally I much prefer a little meat on the bones :) I've never been a fan of skinny women even when I was in rockin shape and not looking to bad myself. By the way you look pretty darn good in that profile pic.

I am a female so this is going to sound catty. I've observed in public some thin women who are so mean and horrible to their partners. Horrible!!!! Is it a sense of entitlement? A advanced level of self confidence? I don't get it. And they are'nt pretty realy just thin. It seems like some men just want to be dominated, and I'm not talking physically. Do larger woman lack that level of self confidence and thus not attracked men who want the female to be in charge?

I have been trying to figure out why I am not getting phone numbers now! I have dropped several sizes and it seems as though I am getting less attention now. My brother in-law said that I look really shy and like leave me alone when I go out in public.....I am going to try to look like please bother me from now on.....we will see if that works! LOL!

I feel we have to learn to love ourselves and not look for a man to love us. Any man who chooses a woman based of her outer appearance has issues of his own.

Well thanks for the compliments..... I still just dont get it! I know my friends are cute and I feel like I am on the same leve as them no matter what size I am but its insane how many guys hit on them or ask me about them to hook them up. The funny part is they all have boyfriends so its a waste of there time anyway., Another thing is when people set me up they always set me up w people I would never date not to sound rude but total losers. Hello just because I am over weight doesnt mean that I will date anyone.. I want someone with a job goals, all there teeth and someone that doesnt want to use me is that to much to ask? I guess I just wish that I could find that person. Ugh I dont know!

I can't stand skinny girls, gotta have some curves. My wife is a size 12 and I think she is smokin hot. She wants to get down more, but I don't think I want her too ! You'll find the right person.

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

Iʻm roughly 6 weeks post-op this morning and have begun to feel like a normal human, with a normal human body again. I started introducing solid foods and pill forms of medications/supplements a couple of weeks ago and it's really amazing to eat meals with my family again, despite the fact that my portions are so much smaller than theirs.
I live on the island of Oʻahu and spend a lot of time in the water- for exercise, for play,  and for spiritual & mental health. The day I had my month out appointment with my surgeon, I packed all my gear in my truck, anticipating his permission to get back in the ocean. The minute I walked out of that hospital I drove straight to the shore and got in that water. Hallelujah! My appointment was at 10 am. I didn't get home until after 5 pm.
I'm down 31 pounds since the day of surgery and 47 since my pre-op diet began, with that typical week long stall occurring at three weeks. I'm really starting to see some changes lately- some of my clothing is too big, some fits again. The most drastic changes I notice however are in my face. I've also noticed my endurance and flexibility increasing. I was really starting to be held up physically, and I'm so grateful that I'm seeing that turn around in such short order.
My general disposition lately is hopeful and motivated. The only thing that bugs me on a daily basis still is the way those supplements make my house smell. So stink! But I just bought a smell proof bag online that other people use to put their pot in. My house doesn't stink anymore.

Oh yeah, something I wanted to rant about, a billing dispute that cropped up 3 months ago.
Surgery was in August of 2023. A bill shows up for over $7,000 in January. WTF? I asks myself. I know that I jumped through all of the insurance hoops and verified this and triple checked that, as did the surgeon's office. All was set, and I paid all of the known costs before surgery.
A looong story short, is that an assistant surgeon that was in the process of accepting money from my insurance company touched me while I was under anesthesia. That is what the bill was for. But hey, guess what? Some federal legislation was enacted last year to help patients out when they cannot consent to being touched by someone out of their insurance network. These types of bills fall under something called, "surprise billing," and you don't have to put up with it.
      https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
I had to make a lot of phone calls to both the surgeon's office and the insurance company and explain my rights and what the maximum out of pocket costs were that I could be liable for. Also had to remind them that it isn't my place to be taking care of all of this and that I was going to escalate things if they could not play nice with one another.
Quick ending is that I don't have to pay that $7,000+. Advocate, advocate, advocate for yourself no matter how long it takes and learn more about this law if you are ever hit with a surprise bill.
