What do you think

Recommended Posts

I called yesterday and realized the insurance company did not have any of my information. So I got a fax number for the correct department and gave it to the surgeons office to refax info.I am thinking about getting information from my orthopedic doctor to support my need for the surgery.I am also thinking of sending pictures of myself at the gym to support the fact that I know the band is not a quick fix and that I have to do my part.I also plan to type up a letter with all of my diagnosis and my family medical history to support my need for the surgery.I wanted to know if anyone else have went this route.I am waiting on my letter from my GYN doctor who has monitoed my weight and prescribed Adipex and Vitamin B-12 shots in the past for me.I just want to be prepared with all the necessary and helpful paperwork. So with that being said, what do you think?

Did you get a letter from your primary doctor? If not, you should. That may help as well.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
