to fill or not fill - that's my ?

Recommended Posts

I am pondering getting another fill. In some ways I want one b/c I can eat 1 - 1 1/2 cups food at a time. But in other ways I don't want one b/c I can't eat chicken (gets stuck) so I'm always eating ground beef, veggies, Pasta and salad. I am not doing the Protein 1st thing and I am eating alot of crap (candy, crackers, etc). I think a fill might help me eat less, but then again, does it really matter if I'm eating less if I'm eating crap b/c I can;t get chicken down?

MY Dr. said that if you don't lose anything for 4 weeks straight to come see about a fill. Surely your Dr. will tell you to quit with the junk too.

Are you losing still?

I really dont eat too much junk -its just I feel that junk is all I've had this last week b/c of Xmas. I have only lost 2-3 lbs since 2 weeks after my surgery. So that's only 2-3 lbs in the past 2 months. I am going to get another small fill, I have resolved to start inputting my food on fitday.com, and I just signed up for Water aerobics and hubby and I are going to go play tennis tonight. I think I need a mental adjustment as well as a band adjustment!

That's the same thing my doctor told me. I have lost probably 2-3 lbs in the past month. I decided to wait until after the holidays to get a fill. Mine is on Jan. 3rd.

I can't eat chiken anymore either. I've tried all kinds with all kinds of "goo" and still it gets stuck every time, so I've crossed it off of my list of foods not to eat.

Good luck to you! = )

P.S. I was losing slow for a while but have picked up just recently. I haven't changed my ticker but I am now down to the 2's = ) 294.0.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
