Im in the 100's and way down on insulin

Recommended Posts

It has been 19 days since surgery and I weigh 197 this band is awsome. We had our family Christmas yesterday and I tryed several outfits from my closet. TOOOOOO BIGGGGG.Thank you God.The most awsome thing is I am down from 65 units of insulin to 10.I love my band. This band has probably saved my life. I was becoming brittle before I found the ambertose that held me till surgery.

After 19 years of diabeties I had diabetic retonopithy and neropthy ( pardon my spelling).I had to have my kidneys checked every three months.

I feel great and my blood sugars are Awsome.I want to get out and walk so I can see my scales each morning go down down down.I have always been large but my belly was a lot bigger than it should have been for my size.Weighing 218 I was in a 42 and it was tight in the stomach. The legs in the pants were to big but I needed that size because of my belly.Saturday I actually bought just a extra large off the rack rather that a 2x. The first thing that went was the double chin and now my belly is melting away.

Friends

Thank you for supporting me when I almost backed out.I do not think I would of had the surgery without your support.

I find it truly incredible how the first 20 pounds gone felt! It's amazing how far your insulin units have gone down, in such a short period of time! Isn't it wonderful?!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
