Anyone interested in a Christmas challenge?

Could you do this for me. Not sure how this is done, not too good with this stuff. I already entered for today.

Thanks Joyce

I did this, just copied it into the cells so it will auto calculate so long as everyone puts their results in.

Really happy to have this challenge. I am not as hell bent on losing the weight in a hurry as I was when I was younger! I am doing my best to take my time and work as much on the head and setting good expectations as I am on diet and exercise. This is just the little edge to keep me making good choices without going full on into diet mode. I am an all or nothing kind of dieter - I can diet better than most, never cheating, recording every morsel, losing weight fast, until I quit, then it's look out food! so now I am working on eating healthy, but not obsessively so :)

Sign me up! It's so hard to imagine what weight loss will look like down the pike a little. I'm at 210 now so I'll go with 35 lbs, taking me to 175. I can't imagine weighing that. It would be almost criminal!

p.s. I sorted the sheet alphabetically, just for ease of use. I hope that's ok! Happy to undo.

I just added myself to the spreadsheet. I have a record of my weight, so I was able to fill in the first week weight, although that was my surgery day, so I just used the average between a couple days before and a couple days after. Im very excited about this because the only real goal I have already set is to be in Onederland by christmas! Then Ill go from there and set more goals to get to my final weight. woohoo Im so excited about this!:)

I still can't get into the spreadsheet without logging in first. Can someone fix it please.

Just got on to the spreadsheet. I'm doing the Labor Day Challenge too so it will be interesting to see a short term and then a longer term goal. I didn't do a ticker because it is so long...and I have two already...but I am with you!

I'm in! I'm doing the Labor Day challenge also, and it will be neat to have a long-term goal next to the shorter term.

I am figuring on 26 pounds, and that will put me within 15-20 pounds of my final goal.

Is it too late for me to join in? I would love to go for 40 pounds: stretch for me, but it would make me super happy! I am at 255, I would be at 215: wow!

Nope, never too late to join! Just add yourself and your info to the spreadsheet. We just completed week one, and are on week two.

I just wanted to point out that I was banded on July 2nd so I did not get to accurately weight myself for week one and so my weight loss for week two is actually the culmination of two weeks, one week of pre-op diet and one week post op.

Wow welcome to all the new people who have decided to join in! When I was first banded I did join in the weight loss challenges and I did find them very motivating.

I'm so glad to be back and getting my wojo back. I feel so excited and so ready to knock this outta the ballpark. Though I did not post a loss last week, I am super confident that I can bump myself back up into losing a few pounds this week.

I am going to meet and even exceed my Christmas goal this year!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
