Banded 7/21 down 58.6 as of today :cursing:

My surgery was 7/21 and as of this morning I have lost 54.8. First fill 9/2. Second fill was 10/7. I'm very happy with my band.

It was 6 weeks.

First fill was today, six weeks after surgery. On Clear liquids for 24 hours. Just having Water and broth. Not hungry at all, right now Not sure what size band I have. Dr. said he put in 4cc. Next fill 10/14.

I don't think it's too fast. I have lost 33.6 in 20 days.

I was banded 7/21 by Dr. Strom. As of this morning I have lost 32.6lbs. Best thing I ever did for me.

I am having the same problem. I have a follow up appointment on Monday and on Wednesday I have an appointment with my reg doc. I will let you know.

Baby food was just cereal and one jar of peaches. It did not keep me filled for too long, that's whay it was only once with a 2oz serving. I drink Unjury 3 times a day. Part skim ricotta cheese, eggs, and beans. I do get all the protein in.

I did not puree any meats. I did puree tuna, cream of mushroom soup and pea soup. I also pureed red beans w/Progresso Tomato and Basil soup. I was able to have mashed taters and scrambled eggs. I also had some baby food.

Thanks everybody glad I am not alone with this burping. I do feel hungry once in a while and I drink Water and feel better nothing too bad yet still have 9 days of puree left. Wonder what can go in the blender next.:party:

Hi everybody. My name is Joyce I live in Newark, NJ and was banded and hital hernia repair 7/21 and stayed one night had to do test in the morning. I had no pain after surgery but was very tired. Port site did not want to close so I was put on Amoxicillin w/Calavuante which gave me a very bad sore throat. Port site still not closing so they put me on Bactrim and now have hives. After three doses had to stop and the site is now healing. I did the two week pre-op of clear, started a few days earlier. Post-op 5 days of clear, 3 weeks of puree. I can have 2oz for each of the 3 meals and 3 4oz protien shakes. I had my gallblader removed in 6/87. Last year I was diagnoised with H. Pylori and Hep A. I got them from eating fish, which came from dirty Water. I can't get them or pass them to anyone. As of this morning I have lost 30.8lbs. I have two questions : 1. Is anybody burping alot? 2. Do you have a bad taste in your mouth that makes some food taste bad?

Hi everybody I was banded on 7/21. I'm down 27.6:thumbup: and I feel great. I also had a problem with the port incision healing it is closing up now. I did have to go to the er Saturday after surgery. He gave me an antibotic Amoxicilin (sp), which gave me a sore throat. Doing well with making mushy's. I am so happy with my band.
