Your very first fill

Hi all,

So after you had Lap-Band surgery, how long did the surgeon make you wait before you had your very first fill?

I had surgery on Sept 28th and I will have my first fill on November 4th. So only five weeks for me.

It was 6 weeks.

I was banded Sept 7th and my first fill will be Oct 20th.

It was 6 weeks for me! :)

I was banded on 09/08 and had my first fill on 10/07 (4 weeks). It was weird, because I didn't particularly like how it felt, but at least it was quick. I think it is somewhat restrictive; I am working on doing a better job of measuring my foods and not just eyeballing it.

I just had to wait a minimum of 25 days. I was banded on 9/17/10 and I just got my first fill today, 10/12/10, and they added 2 cc's to my .8 I already had.:smile2:

I was banded 9/27/10 - and scheduled for my first fill on Oct 22nd.

I was banded 9/22, and my next appt isn't until 11/30. My surgeon didn't commit to a fill then either. So, eight weeks minimum, and maybe longer!

Banded 8/26----first fill 10/15 (they made me wait until I was back from a trip to Vegas). I feel nothing, want another :)

Actual process took 30 seconds.
