  1. My port flipped about 6mnths after my intial surgery n Jan 2010. My surgeon would flip it manually. My surgeon left, and I got a new surgeon who did port revision surgery--he flipped up and moved it to a more accessible area. I was unfilled for the surgery. Like another OP said, my weight loss slowed down some. Hope everything works out okay for you.
  2. Yes my first fill was exactly like that, maybe worse. I remember the pain being so bad I could barely walked after he stuck and pressed. Was told the same thing to come back in 4 weeks hoping that more weight loss would help access. The second fill after much poking and prodding--eventually worked. Long story short--port flipped because was in awkward place--revision surgery in January when I switched to a new surgeon, but went months before switch with flipped port and doctor flipping it manually.
  3. Hadn't been on LBT in so long. Yes Melody you were the glue that held Iit together! I'm still alive and kicking
  4. Don't worry--I was close to your size when I started and I stayed in the same size clothes for awhile, just more loose--then I woke one week everything was falling off me. I was a 30/32 bottom, 26/28 top & bottom and nowI wear 18/20 bottom, and 14/16 top. As I exercised I loss more inches and made me fit into smaller sizes even when the scale does not show it.
  5. I have tons of clothes in sizes 22-28 to give away. Planning to take them to goodwill if not takers by June 23 I am in desparate need of summer clothing. Tops 14/16 Capris or bermuda shorts 20 or 22 (if they are linen) Dresses or skirts 18/20.
  6. +3 On the water--I have constipation issues and it directly correlates to when i miss my water intake--Not even a laxative will work without water!!!
  7. I started my when from my 6mth supervised diet before I did the liquid pre-op 2weeks before surgery.
  8. I pay for fills with my FSA. It also covers health club if it is a medically prescribed program for your doctor
  9. Lol funny but common problem. I keep chewable Gas X with me at all times. I just think I will be thinner, but noone will want to be around me lol
  10. I am not weighing until the end of the challenge. Congrats to everyone's weight loss. I hope to meeting the goal. I am not weighing until the end because of my addiction to the scale, daily several times. I will go back to weekly for the July 4th Challenge--my addiction is under control now:) Forced me to remember my goal--to get physically fit and not just "skinny"
  11. Hi mattie--get your Vitamin D level checked to see if you are possibly Vitamin D deficient--that will make you extremely tired/fatigued as well.
  12.    shadst8 reacted to a post in a topic: Is anyone like me?
  13. I too gain 7lbs of water weight--I have since the start of my period. It takes me a couple of days, then I am back to normal. Sometimes I will do mostly shakes all day at the end of TOM to speed the process up.
  14. Don't have time to fully catch up, but thanks for the chuckle Melody and HB. I so can attest to my "girls" hanging. I told my Zumba instructor who sells Zumba exercise clothing that I am at the point I can probably breast feed my own self, so I need support!
  15. Just checking in since I am playing hookie from work: Deb--that is exactly what I wanted for my own funeral. That is a true celebration of life--I do not want any sadness whatever. Melody--see you on FB:) We will miss you
