I've been banded for 6 months, had 4 fills for a total of 2ccs. Since my 4th fill (over 4 weeks) ago I haven't been able to eat ANYTHING without it getting stuck...we're talking applesauce, yogurt, pudding, EVEN DRINKS!. It's so frustrating and I have given it time to settle itself in...it's been over 4 weeks now. Every time I eat something mushy have to to go the bathroom and spit out the slime (gross) and most of the time PB.

I get full very fast but get hungry within 2-3 hours afterwards....

My band has NOT slipped by the way.

Anyone else felt too tight with a small amount of saline?

Do you know what size your band is? How many cc does it hold? If you band is too tight, don't let it go on like that. It can cause strictures of the stomach. That's what happened to me. I didn't do anything about it because I was losing weight and I just had to put up with throwing up on occasion. It seemed like a good trade off at the time. Now I've had nothing but problems since they did the procedure that fixed the stricture problem.

I have a 4cc band and I have 2.75cc in it. I am at my sweet spot. My daughter also has a 4cc band and is way too tight at 1.5cc. It may help to know what size your band is. It does not really matter though, if you are too tight, you are too tight. You sound too tight for sure. It will be fine if you get just a little taken out... Hugs!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
