I hate to say it, but yes--it could be holding you back. Not because cheese is "bad," but because two slices a day might bump your caloric intake above where it needs to be each day in order to promote loss.

I love cheese, too. I still eat it, and can't imagine paring it out of my diet. But in your shoes, I think I'd probably try to pare it down--not out. Make it an indulgence, not a two-a-day habit, and see what the scale does.

I don't eat pepper jack but I do eat a cheese stick everyday. I am still fairly early in my Band life but it doesn't seem to be affecting me. I am still playing around with Protein and various foods to see what works.

I eat mon jack cheese string two a day for my Snacks and they are great. I won't eat the other cheese strings at all. They only have 70 calories each and does the trick for me. I am so addicted to them. They don't seem to be causing me any problems. How many calories are you eating? How much do you work out each day. Maybe you should eat more calories than usual for a day or two then go back down in calories sometimes that tricks your body and you begin to lose agian. In the past it has helped me when stuck in a rutt.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
